Abstract

The article points to the need for the theology of the nation and the prospects for its development, as well as its potential to provide the church and society with meanings that can contribute to a positive solution of both inter-confessional issues and the problems of relations between different groups of collective identity. An attempt is made to determine the tasks of the modern theology of the nation, the requirements for it and the methodology for its formation, which must take into account the specific features of the development of each nation.
