Abstract

One of the most honored representatives of the Eastern European Reformation was Vladimir Martsinkovsky, Christian thinker and preacher, he belonged to inter-church, ecumenical scope that allows to refer him to great heritage ie. general Protestant Reformation. His program theses were related to the three themes – Reformation of orthodoxy, revival of living communities and the early Christian spirit, and evangelical enlightment and transformation of society. In other words he believed that it is possible to renew the Orthodox tradition, and then reconcile it with other churches to work together to revive the informal evangelical church in the form of a communities' network. Martsinkovsky's Reformation Project seems prophetic and relevant because it uncovers the prospect of nondenominational Christianity which meets the traditional interfaith diversity of the region and a post-religious sensibility of our postmodern times.
