Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The text has not been previously published and is not under consideration in another journal (or an explanation has been provided in the comments to the editor).
- The text includes introduction, main text, conclusion, reference list, abstract, keywords and information about the author in the original language and a Ukrainian translation of the abstract, keywords, and information about the author and author’s affiliation.
- The text is in MS Word (docх) file format.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font Times New Roman; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text is formatted according to the requirements of the Chicago Manual of Style 17/18 ed.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- In preparing the text, the author used AI tools only in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics requirements.
Articles
The section publishes original research articles covering various aspects of theological studies. Articles should not exceed 5000-7000 words.
Translations
The section publishes original translations of biblical and church documents, and relevant theological research.
Reviews
The journal accepts reviews of publications related to the disciplinary field of theology, biblical studies, church history and related fields of science and published no more than two years ago.
New Publications
The section "New editions" contains short descriptions of the content of new books and articles on theological topics and their complete bibliographic data.
Academic Life
The reports on theological conferences, seminars etc.

By submitting an article for publication in Theological Reflections: Eastern European Journal of Theology the author grants the editors the right to publish the article and distribute it in electronic and print form.
The author reserves all copyrights and the right to use the materials of the article in whole or in part for educational purposes, to write his own dissertations, to prepare abstracts, conference reports, oral presentations, etc., as well as post electronic copies of articles (including the final electronic version downloaded from the journal’s official website) on non-commercial web-resources without the consent of the editorial board and founders.
Privacy Statement
The journal's Editorial Board is fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts. Information about these manuscripts should only be shared with the author(s), reviewers, potential reviewers, other journal editors, or consultants, and not disclosed to any third parties (not involved in the publication process).
Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents by reviewers. They must not be shown or discussed with others unless authorized by the Editor-in-Chief (See Publication Ethics).
